Meet the women behind
Mindfulness in mOTion
Our Story
As educational occupational therapists, we realized that there are many hurdles to jump over when trying to make impactful and positive changes. We felt it was necessary to shift the mindset towards a new culture of how OT's can help on a larger scale by integrating mindfulness and movement to increase academic performance, life productivity, and emotional regularity throughout the lifespan.
Danielle, affectionately known as Dr. D, is a mindfulness mentor, movement motivator, and authentic calm curator.
She is the co-owner of Mindfulness in mOTion, a neurodivergent (ADHD/SPD/C-PTSD) occupational therapist and registered yoga teacher that embraces mental health and sensory needs while living authentically with her neurodivergent family in Southern California.

Danielle has both a doctorate and masters degree in Occupational Therapy, postgraduate studies in Infant Mental Health, and practices with a focus on early intervention, movement, mindfulness, and their connection to academic learning.

She is the published author of The First-Time Mom's Guide to Managing Triggers: Practical Strategies to Navigate Difficult Moments a must-read for anyone seeking a more mindful life.

With over 24 years of experience, Danielle is a keynote speaker, educational trainer, university professor, and entrepreneur. She is passionate about helping individuals and families stay calm, cool, organized, and co-regulated through the transformative power of mindfulness and movement.
